  • User-Generated Content: We collect data regarding the products you list on the marketplace, photos you upload, and messages or posts you share in the Community hubs.
  • Device and Usage Information: We automatically collect device hardware models, operating system versions, unique device identifiers, IP addresses, and browsing behavior on our platform.

2. Mobile Device Permissions

To provide core functionalities of the Coltira mobile application, we may request access to specific device features. You can modify these permissions in your device settings:

  • Camera & Photo Library: Accessed strictly to allow you to upload profile pictures, product listing images, and community post photos. We do not access your camera or photos without your explicit initiation.
  • Location Services: We may request approximate or precise location data to connect you with nearby buyers, accurately tag farm locations, and provide localized AI crop advisory. Location data is only collected while the app is in use.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Services.
  • To process marketplace transactions and facilitate communication between buyers and sellers.
  • To personalize your experience, including providing tailored AI agricultural advice based on your region and crop type.
  • To monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our Services.
  • To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent transactions, abuse, and other illegal activities, protecting the rights and property of Coltira and others.

  • With Other Users: When you list a product or post in the community, your profile name, location, and contact information (as permitted by your settings) will be visible to other registered users to facilitate trade and networking.
